Official Rules & Regulations

1. Sponsor

The “$10,000 Window & Door Project Giveaway” (the “Giveaway”) is sponsored and administered by EcoTech Windows & Doors (“Sponsor”).

2. Giveaway Entry Periods

The Giveaway is being conducted on a per-show basis, with separate entry periods and separate prize draws for each participating event (each a “Giveaway Period”).

The applicable Giveaway Entry Periods are:

• March 6 – March 15, 2026 – Entries collected at the National Home Show
• March 19 – March 22, 2026 – Entries collected at the Ottawa Home & Garden Show
• March 26 – March 29, 2026 – Entries collected at the Spring Cottage Life Show (Mississauga)

Each Giveaway Entry Period begins at the official opening time of the applicable event and ends at the official closing time of that event. As per Section 4, Qualifying Projects entered into within 30 days following the end of the applicable Giveaway Entry Period will be eligible.

Entries are valid only for the specific Giveaway Period during which they are submitted and will not be carried forward to any subsequent Giveaway Period.

3. Eligibility

The Giveaway is open to legal residents of Ontario who:

• Are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry
• Own a residential property located in Ontario
• Are legally able to enter into a home improvement contract

Employees, representatives, agents, and immediate family members of EcoTech Windows & Doors are not eligible to enter.

4. How to Enter

To be eligible for the Giveaway, an individual must:

1. Engage with EcoTech Windows & Doors in person during the applicable Giveaway  EntryPeriod at the designated home show event;
2. Provide complete and accurate contact information at the event, creating an original lead record with EcoTech during that specific show; and
3. After the event, formally begin a qualifying residential window and/or door replacement project with EcoTech (a “Qualifying Project”).

For these Rules, a “Qualifying Project” means:

1. The homeowner completes an in-home assessment.
2. Enters into a written purchase agreement with EcoTech Windows & Doors; and
3. Provides any required deposit in accordance with standard company policy.

The original lead must have been generated at the applicable home show during the Giveaway Entry Period. Projects originating before the event, existing customer contracts, previously quoted projects, or leads transferred from other marketing sources are not eligible.

Limit of one (1) entry per household per Giveaway Period, regardless of the number of projects purchased.

Only Qualifying Projects entered into within 30 days following the end of the applicable Giveaway Entry Period will be eligible.

5. Prize

For each Giveaway Period, there will be:

One (1) prize consisting of a $10,000 CAD credit toward the purchase and installation of residential windows and/or doors supplied and installed by EcoTech Windows & Doors.

Prize Conditions:

• The prize is a promotional project credit only and has no cash value.
• The credit must be applied exclusively toward the Qualifying Project that generated the eligible entry.
• The credit cannot be transferred, assigned, substituted, or redeemed for cash.
• If the total project value exceeds $10,000 CAD, the winner is responsible for the balance.
• If the total project value is less than $10,000 CAD, the remaining amount is forfeited.
• The credit will be applied to the final contract balance before completion or in a manner determined by EcoTech in its sole discretion.
• The project must be located within EcoTech’s standard service area.
• Standard contract terms, production timelines, and installation policies apply.

6. Winner Selection

For each Giveaway Period, one (1) eligible entrant will be selected by random draw from all verified Qualifying Projects associated with that specific show.

The draw will take place within fourteen (14) business days following the close of the applicable Giveaway Period at EcoTech’s principal place of business. This is approximately 45 days following the conclusion of the event.

Only entries tied to fully executed agreements and qualifying deposits received within the timeframe specified in Section 4 will be included in the draw.

The selected entrant will be contacted by telephone and/or email using the contact information provided on the contract for their Qualified Project.

If a selected entrant:

• Cannot be contacted within ten (10) business days;
• Is found to be ineligible;
• Fails to correctly answer the skill-testing question; or
• Declines the prize;

EcoTech reserves the right to disqualify that entrant and conduct an additional random draw from the remaining eligible entries for that Giveaway Period.

7. Skill-Testing Question

In accordance with Canadian law, the selected entrant must correctly answer, without assistance and within a specified time limit, a mathematical skill-testing question administered by EcoTech before being declared the official winner.

Failure to correctly answer the question will result in disqualification and selection of an alternate entrant.

8. Odds of Winning

Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible Qualifying Projects entered into during the applicable Giveaway Period.

9. Publicity Release

By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to the use of their name, city of residence, photograph, project details, testimonials, and/or likeness by EcoTech Windows & Doors for advertising and promotional purposes in any media, now known or hereafter developed, without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.

Participation in winner announcement photography or promotional content is a condition of receiving the prize, unless otherwise restricted by applicable law.

10. General Conditions

EcoTech reserves the right to:

• Verify all entries and eligibility requirements;
• Disqualify any entrant who provides false, incomplete, or misleading information;
• Cancel, suspend, or modify the Giveaway, in whole or in part, if fraud, technical issues, or any factor beyond reasonable control affects the integrity or proper conduct of the Giveaway.

All decisions of EcoTech regarding eligibility, qualification, and winner selection are final and binding.

This Giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by the applicable home show organizers, including:

• National Home Show
• Ottawa Home & Garden Show
• Spring Cottage Life Show

11. Privacy

Personal information collected in connection with this Giveaway will be used for:

• Giveaway administration;
• Verification of eligibility; and
• Marketing and communication purposes in accordance with EcoTech’s privacy practices and applicable Canadian privacy legislation.

Entrants may withdraw consent to marketing communications at any time; however, withdrawal before the draw may affect EcoTech’s ability to contact the entrant if selected.

12. Limitation of Liability

By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless EcoTech Windows & Doors, its directors, officers, employees, and representatives from any claims, losses, damages, or liabilities arising from:

• Participation in the Giveaway
• The awarding, acceptance, or use of the prize; or
• The administration of the Giveaway.

The prize is applied as a contractual credit only and does not alter standard product warranties or installation guarantees.

13. Governing Law

The Giveaway is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws and regulations and shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein.
