First off, we hope you and your family are safe and taking the necessary precautions to stay safe. This is an unprecedented time for all of us.

There is no denying the situation with the COVID-19 pandemic is escalating quickly. Things continue to change from day to day and our management team is monitoring things closely. The health and safety of our customers and our team is our top priority.

Many of our customers have inquired about the status of our current operations. Many companies in Ontario and across Canada have made the difficult decision to temporarily shut down operations. We wanted to update you about our status and provide you with some important information about how we are operating during this pandemic.

EcoTech Is Open For Business

EcoTech Windows and Doors is OPEN for business. After careful reflection and consultation, we’ve determined we can stay open and do so safely.

We want to assure you that EcoTech Windows & Doors is operating at full capacity. Our manufacturing facility is operating and we are in the full swing of producing windows and doors for our customers. We have taken the necessary precautions to ensure our sales team, office staff, and installers remain healthy during this time. We’ve adjusted some of our business practices to ensure we can serve you effectively while minimizing risk to you and our employees.

What Precautions Is EcoTech Taking?

We are taking any and all COVID-19 safety precautions seriously. We are abiding by all government recommendations to help prevent the spread of the virus. Here is what you need to know:

  • None of our team members have travelled abroad recently.
  • If any team member is not feeling well, we have instructed them to stay home on paid leave.
  • If any employee presents any symptoms or feels they may have been exposed to the virus, they will be required to stay home and self-quarantine for 14 days.
  • We have cancelled all out of province company travel until it is safe to do so again.
  • We will be updating our safety measures periodically as instructed by the Government.

The unprecedented circumstances are new to all of us. There may be a disturbance of business practices or delays as a result. We will update you of any changes with your windows and doors services and installation timelines.

What Precautions Are We Taking At Our Facilities?

We have made some changes to how we operate while still providing you with industry-leading windows and doors products. Here are some of the things we are doing at our facility and office:

  • We’ve provided additional cleaning and sanitization products to our team members to keep all work areas clean.
  • All employees and visitors much wash/sanitize their hands upon arrival and continue to wash hands frequently throughout the day.
  • All outside visitors are by appointment only.
  • We are wiping down high traffic areas more frequently.
  • We are limiting the number of people in our facilities.
  • We are practicing social distancing – everyone must stay at least 6 feet away from each other.
  • We are doing our best to minimize one to one contact.
  • All equipment must be cleaned and sanitized after use.

What Precautions Are We Taking In Our Customers’ Homes?

We are still fulfilling customer orders at this time. If you have scheduled a windows or doors installation with us, everything is a go unless you have heard otherwise from us.

We know you are concerned about the potential spread of the virus. We have taken a number of precautions to help limit the spread of the virus, while still providing you with the best service possible.

For everyone’s safety, we have enacted the following measures:

  • We have temporarily switched to a no handshake/ no-contact policy with our customers.
  • All of our employees will wash their hands or use sanitizer upon entering your home.
  • Any employee who is not feeling well will be asked to stay at home.
  • We will practice social distancing while in your home.
  • We will do our best to accommodate you and address any concerns you have.
