EcoTech sliding glass patio doors feature a standard twin-locking system made in North America. This guarantees better locking action and safety.
Heavy-duty hardware is a standard component of our door configuration. Also, a selection of optional colours are available.
The EcoTech sliding glass patio door is designed to accommodate standard 1” double-glazed glass, as well as 1” ⅜ triple-glazed glass for ultimate performances.
All vertical sashes are reinforced with galvanized steel bars to reduce any deflection under harsh wind conditions and increase safety.
Our patio doors feature standard interior and exterior pocket covers. They provide a clean and elegant look.
EcoTech patio doors feature adjustable synthetic nylon rollers tested for durability and longevity.
EcoTech patio doors are designed and built with a fully covered anodized aluminum sill. It provides a durable surface and a stylish finish to the doors.
These types of doors come standard with tempered Low-E glasses and argon gas. Options are available for multiple types and combinations of Low-E for high SHGC (Solar Heat Gain Coefficient) or U-values.

A standard feature of these doors, the twin locking system provides a smooth locking process and a robust latching system that improves security. Features an anti-locking device, and heavy-duty locking hooks.

At EcoTech Windows & Doors, all our doors are designed and manufactured to meet or exceed industry standards.
Our products are backed by a warranty that protects against defects in materials and workmanship resulting from the manufacturing process.
The warranty covers parts and components for the specified period under normal use. Please note that EcoTech warranties cover parts only and do not include labour or other costs related to the purchase, installation, or use of the products.
Hardware
All hardware is warranted against defects for ten (10) years.
Paint
Paint is warranted for ten (10) years to remain free of peeling, cracking, and major discoloration, provided the damage is not caused by exposure to sunlight, heat, or noxious or abrasive materials.
Frame & Sash
Vinyl frame and sash components are warranted for twenty-five (25) years against blistering, peeling, flaking, and corrosion.
Screens
Punctures and tears in screens are covered for ten (10) days, with parts provided free of charge. Labor is not included. Please note that screens are not designed to prevent falls.
Mini Blinds
Mini blinds are warranted for a period of five (5) years.
Insulated Glass
Insulated glass units are covered by a 20-year limited warranty against sealed unit failure. At EcoTech Windows & Doors, “failure” is defined as the loss of the seal between the glass and edge sealant, resulting in moisture, dust, or dirt forming between the inner and outer panes of glass.
Please note that broken glass is not covered under this warranty. According to the Canadian Glazing Standards Board (CGSB), minor imperfections such as small bubbles, eyes, crystals, or scratches are inherent in manufactured glass products and are not considered defects covered by the warranty.
Cracked glass or insulating glass (IG) failure caused by manufacturing defects or thermal shock is covered for parts only, for a period of one (1) year from the date of invoice.

There are several differences between patio doors and entry doors, including:

All sliding glass doors that EcoTech installs provide industry-leading security features and modern, high-performance construction. However, French Doors generally provide the best security as they are set into a fixed frame and the panels are secured through a series of pivots that lock in the middle. This makes them more secure and reduces the likelihood of damage.
